To support research on local rare plant populations, surveys are conducted in sites throughout guam using the line transect method. upon discovery we collect species data where we evaluate overall vigor and reasons for its decline. founder plants are recorded and frequently monitored to safeguard their existence in their natural habitat.

GOALS:

  1. Identify, locate, and mark rare native flora of Guam

  2. Collect rare species growth and habitat data

  3. COllect propagules for propagation in the nursery
